The Great Hospital Adventure is a
childs story which begins as Josh is playing in the back yard
and breaks his leg. His sister Ashley narrates the story and
describes how Josh comes into contact with a variety of health
care professionals including paramedics, people who work in
the hospital emergency room, radiological technologists,
physical therapists and family medical practices.
Ashley tells her story though a
DVD, a puppet show and a coloring book in which she and Josh
are featured.
The program is designed to do
double duty as SECAHEC encourages schools to introduce older
students to careers in health care by having them help make
the presentation to the younger children.
